Emergency Department
PatientEase can be configured to optimize times where it
matters most, your emergency department. Using patient health cards
decreases the registration time and improves data accuracy.
Specialized cards for emergency staff can be issued to check-in patient
without cards or who are unable to check-in. Integration to your
existing emergency systems is available.
Infusion Therapy
PatientEase can be extended in many ways. For
example in at one customer facility a receptionist opened a door using a
buzzer. A PatientEase kiosk can be setup to automatically buzz the
door for the patient when the swipe or check-in at the kiosk. Giving
the ability for unattended access to patients needing regular treatments.
Oncology
PatientEase can be configured in many ways to provide
optimum solutions. For example in the oncology department of a
customer the nurses station in the back was configured as a master station
to let the nurse see who was waiting. Modality queues could be setup
for each doctor allowing the nurse to see the load for each doctor and
assign patient accordingly.
Marketing
An integrated marketing solution using Solucient
demographic marketing data, external printing solutions and PatientEase
Loyalty Card System can allow for mass mailing of branded health cards to
existing and potential patients. This is a great way to distinguish
your healthcare facility from the norm.
Remote Registration
Health Fairs - Health fairs and ALF's are great
opportunities for you to signup new health card members which improves
your relationship with existing and potential patients. Using
PatientEase Loyalty Card System and the remote registration module you can
register new card holders at other locations.
In-house - In-house functions are also great
opportunities to show-off your new systems. Signing up patients,
potential patients and other health care personal can increase awareness
of your facility.
For example a QueueVision customer used PatientEase
for a physicians mixer. A queue was setup for the mixer and cards
where issued to each participant. When physicians arrived they
swiped in. This immediately established a participant list and
gave event coordinators information they could use immediately.
Corporate View
For large healthcare chains with multiple facilities
PatientEase can be configured to view each facility and a version of
GlobalView can be used to have a view of all facilities giving corporate
administrators an immediate 'real-time' view of what's going on.
GlobalView also gives the ability to 'drill-down' to each facility and
department to see specific stats for each patient.
